Michael Albert brings his Pop Art Experience for families to Loxley, AL this summer!!!
As part of his Summer Pop Art Tour, American Pop Artist, Michael Albert will be bringing his nationally known ‘Cereal Box Collage Workshop’ to the Loxley Civic Center on Tuesday, June 17 from 6 – 8 p.m.
He will lead his Hands-On Collage workshop where participants (kids and parents) will have the chance to create their own masterpieces using cereal boxes, cookie boxes, cracker boxes, and other colorful cardboard packages. All participants will receive a free signed poster of one of Albert’s creations as a special gift for joining him in this creative art making session.
Albert’s work has been describes as a cross between Pop Art, Cubism, and Recycling.
This summer Albert will be bringing his nationally renowned Art Programs to over 75 cities in 9 states. He’s been running this art enrichment program over the past 15 years and brought it to over 1,000 libraries, museums, schools, and community centers.
Michael Albert was born and raised in New York. He lives in White Plains, New York with his wife, Erynn. They have four grown children. He is excited to bring his art and workshop to Loxley, Alabama for the first time.
